Welcome to Andy Mayne Guitar Tuition’s Blog page.Here you will find Andy’s weekly video blog containing all things guitar.You can view some of his own arrangements of popular songs and some of his own compositions.

Andy will also be highlighting some of his licks and tricks which he has acquired from over thirty years of playing and performing including many of his own unique creations inspired by guitar greats such as Tommy Emmanuel and Chet Atkins.

Andy started listening to Tommy and Chet early on in his youth and by listening carefully to their recordings,he managed to work out their unique way of playing.After a number of years Andy applied these techniques in his own playing to create his own licks and tricks to embellish his own compositions and arrangements.

In a search of Youtube guitar tutorials,Andy discovered there is very little content on the techniques employed by guitarists such as Tommy Emmanuel & Chet Atkins and so aims to fill that void to share with the guitar community.
